Michael Gaughan comes to Altitude Consulting with a diverse range of airport, sales and travel experience in the Canadian and European markets.
From 2002 to 2003, Michael served as a Ramp Agent at
Abbotsford International Airport, YXX, providing a variety of services for Canwest Flight Services. Working with various airlines, Michael gained invaluable experience as he developed his interest in airport operations.
In 2004, Michael began working at
Vancouver International Airport, YVR, for Interdel Aviation Services. In the capacity of Line Crew Service Man, Michael provided outstanding customer service to pilots and passengers, marketed available products and ensured the safety of numerous private and corporate jets. Michael emerged in this role a strong leader and returned to this position upon returning from Ireland.
Michael moved to Dublin, Ireland, in 2005, where he became a Sales Associate for
Dell Inc. after completing the SOS School of Sales program. In this role, Michael met and exceeded sales targets on a regular basis and won an award for Excellence in Sales. Further developing his customer service skills, Michael managed inbound customers' IT requirements while effectively selling Dell products. By providing exceptional customer service, habitually surpassing sales goals and providing Dell with a base of new clients, Michael became one of the youngest Sales executives for Dell Irelands sales office.
Michael's interest in aviation has fostered a passion for airport operations as well as enthusiasm for traveling. Michael traveled extensively in Europe for a number of years. This travel experience has heightened his interest in the tourism industry and left him with a life-long passion for adventure.
